Tip #4: Brushed / Brushless RC Motor Maintenance

Flush out the motor can and armature or rotor regularly with motor cleaner to keep them as free from debris as possible. Always make a note of the orientation of the brush springs (+/-) when you strip down or rebuild a brushed RC Car motor. Note the spring tension too, so you can put everything back exactly as it was!
